The Xi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi

The Xi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi was founded on December 27, 1920 on the campus of Howard University. Founders Elder Watson Diggs and Byron K. Armstrong planned for the creation of the Fraternity while students at Howard during the 1909-1910 school year. In the time since, Xi Chapter has risen to prominence and has produced many men of achievement. The chapter continues to cultivate leadership qualities in its members. This legacy includes the initiation of 18 new members in the Spring of 2024.

The Beta Kappa Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi

The “Illustrious“ Beta Kappa Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Chartered February 21, 1940 at the University of the District of Columbia. BK Nupes continue to achieve in every field of human endeavor. This legacy includes the initiation of 2 new members in the Spring of 2024.

The Kappa Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi

The American University Chapter, the Kappa Chi of Kappa Alpha Psi was charted September 12th, 1981. Kappa Chi encompasses American University, Catholic University, Georgetown University, and The George Washington University. Since it's inception, Kappa Alpha Psi, and Kappa Chi Specifically has been dedicated to service in the community, especially in D.C.

The Theta Tau Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi

The Theta Tau Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was officially established on Saturday, June 5, 1976, at Howard University in Washington, DC. This chapter holds the distinction of being the second intermediate chapter in the rich history of our esteemed Fraternity. Our chapter is composed of dedicated graduate and professional school students who are enrolled full-time in universities throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area.
