Get To Know WAC
Greetings,
As the 49th Polemarch of the Washington (DC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi
Fraternity, Inc., I welcome you and thank you for visiting our website.
The Washington (DC) Alumni Chapter (The Flagship of the Fleet) was chartered in
1924. For the past 100 years, we have consistently strived to be a beacon for
community service, political and social action, Guide Right mentoring, and fellowship.
As the only chapter in the Nation’s Capital, we are deeply committed to the city and to
the ideals and purposes of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
As we celebrate our Centennial Year of 100 Years of Achievement, we reflect on our
theme: “United in Brotherhood 100 Years and Beyond.”
Please explore our site for information on our activities and events, such as community
service projects, the Guide Right mentoring program, political/social action awareness,
and more. You can also follow us on Instagram at @dcnupes.
If you are a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., we welcome you to join us in
membership or fellowship. Our doors are open. We meet every 3rd Saturday of the
month (except July and August) at 3:00 PM at the Kappa Kastle, 1708 S Street N.W.,
Washington, DC 20009. Outside of meetings, our Brotherhood committee regularly
plans fellowship activities.
Once again, thank you for visiting the Washington (DC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha

A Century And Beyond
Achievement for 100 Years And Beyond.
Achievement for 100 Years And Beyond.
The culmination of 100 years of Achieving in Kappa Alpha Psi will be October 15, 2025. Coincidentally, the Washington (DC) Alumni Chapter has won the Large Chapter of the Year Award for the Eastern Province while hosting the Council April 4-7th, 2024.
Under the direction of Donald Greenwood, the 49th chapter Polemarch, the chapter is moving forward into the new millennium and setting the course for its next milestone – the centennial celebration. It looks forward to “training for leadership,” elevating the next generation of brothers who will continue the traditions of excellence established during these past 100 years.
